Welcome to Little People’s Village Child Care & Camps

Little People’s Village is a high quality child care center and summer camp facility located in the historic Overbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We offer Infant through school age care. We are a part of the Philadelphia School district and offer Pre-K Counts at our site. We service families and children in the Philadelphia area as well as parts of Delaware county and the Main Line region. Little People’s Village originally opened 11 years ago as a small home-based daycare facility and many of our staff members from the very beginning are still with us today. We believe that it takes a village to raise a child so we fill our village with love, support, and fun.

Infants/Toddlers

Our staff provide a warm nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age appropriate milestones. The teachers lovingly, verbally and physically engage the infants throughout the day by focusing on the unique learning abilities of each child while simulating your child’s development through play.

In our preschool classes, we create a literacy-rich environment, build classroom community and strong teacher/student and peer relationships, which are all central to The Creative Curriculum for Preschool

At Little People’s Village, we offer great exploration opportunities for children of the ages 5 and up. Our program is designed to help your child grow socially and emotionally, so they will be well prepared for the world ahead of them.

Our Camps

Our summer program is designed to keep the children active physically as well as mentally. During the summer, the children can learn to dance, visit historical places, learn about different cultures, and learn new skills that will help them as they grow. Each child will be able to benefit from everything that we have to offer.
